Award Ceremony
The glittering award ceremony took place on Saturday, 16th October 2022, at Jury’s Inn, Hinckley, as part of the annual FleurEx Florist Industry event. For many, this is the highlight of the two-day extravaganza, which ran from 16th to 17th October. Each year, the event brings together the best and brightest of the British florist industry, including florists, colleges, competitors, suppliers, and growers from the UK, Europe, and beyond.
On the night, the atmosphere was electric, with the room buzzing with excitement after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. As newcomers to the awards, our team had limited expectations. However, we remained optimistic and were both shocked and delighted to hear our name called out, beating all others to be crowned Local Wholesaler of the Year.
The event was a true celebration of the industry’s resilience and creativity. Attendees spent the evening catching up, networking, and dancing well into the early hours, marking a joyous return to in-person gatherings for the floral community.
