#4 Cymbidiums
Add a touch of luxury to your designs with Cymbidium Orchids that are at their best in November and December.
Use them in conjunction with the tubes on spikes and they’re really easy and very cost efficient to add to bouquets, arrangements, even wreaths, although there’s nothing quite like using a whole stem!
Want to learn more about the tubes?
You can locate and buy the 30cm tubes (that can easily be cut or snapped down) and you can buy the 15cm in the ‘Florist Tools & Essentials’ in our Sundries London section of our webshop HERE or simple add ‘tubes’ into the search box. They are also available in 50cm these are available from our Sundries Holland stock, again, use the search box and enter ‘tube’ they’re called Floristry Sediment Tube in this listing. All are sold in boxes of 100 and come with the rubber caps. If you’ve never tried them they’re awesome! Perfect for Vanda orchids too.
#5 Eryngium
Eryngium add a distinctive look and texture throughout the year but in December the range grows considerably as they’re a favourite flower for dyeing.
They’re very well suited to it as a robust flower that loses nothing in the form of texture, but everything in the way of a bit of seasonal sparkle. Out of all of the fresh material that is available in a range of Christmas metallic colours, Eryngium could be the most cost efficient, outstanding option available.
