New Vip Rose Varieties

Most florists are familiar with Vip Roses — a collection that is perfect for weddings and events and in a league of its own. Roses grown by Vip are renowned for their seasonality and their impressively large heads, which are allowed to mature a little longer while growing.

Many florists consider pastel and muted nude shades to be synonymous with Vip Roses, as wonderfully illustrated in the image below.

However, 2025 brings a fresh change! This year, Vip Roses is introducing many varieties that are unapologetically bright and beautiful. Ready to see what’s new for 2025? Let’s take a look!

Quick Intro to VIP Flowers

Before we dive in, here’s a brief overview to give you complete clarity on the full Vip Roses flower collection.

Vip Roses is a name recognised worldwide, thanks to 35 years of dedication from this family-run company, headed by brothers Marc and Ed Sassen.

They specialise in two distinct lines: their homegrown garden-style roses and their vibrant tinted and toppings flower collection.

Today, our focus is entirely on their new 2025 rose varieties, but we must also highlight the ‘tinted and toppings’ jazzed-up flowers collection.

You can discover the entire Vip Roses flower collection in the dedicated Vip list on our webshop.

New Rose Varieties Grown This Year

About VIP Roses 2025 Varieties - Westflor flower wholesale

Vip Roses have been growing roses for over 35 years, hunting out the most unique rose varieties from various breeders. Successfully sourcing, selecting, and growing the most stunning, trending varieties is what has made them such a popular brand.

VIP Roses Breeding Programme

In 2021, Vip Roses began cross-breeding roses themselves — a natural progression for a company on a continuous quest to discover the next show-stopping rose varieties.

However, breeding the next breathtaking rose is a meticulous process that cannot be rushed. It requires time and space. Small crops of new rose varieties are grown to see if they meet the high standards needed before they are judged on their post-harvest qualities, characteristics, and popularity.

Seven exceptional new varieties have met this rigorous standard and are set to launch in late spring 2025! They will be available directly from Vip Roses’ production, grown in their 3.5 hectares of greenhouses, and available between April and November.

Vip Partnerships

While Vip Roses have their own production available between April and November, their Vip-branded roses are available beyond these months thanks to collaborations with other trusted growers.

Vip Roses has a long-term partnership with Schreurs, growing many varieties breed by Schreurs. These include Bailey!, Kensington Gardens! and Westminster Abbey! (shown below). Since Vip Roses began breeding their own varieties since 2021, Schreurs has been the natural choice to support them in the expansion of their future commercial Vip Roses bred varieties. After all, Schreurs specialises in breeding and the international sale of rose varieties. This exciting partnership was officially announced in June 2023.
