Fresh Award Win!
We’ve won at the Fresh Produce Consortium (FPC) Awards – AKA the Oscars of the fresh produce world – for the first time!
We’d made it into the final of three categories, as we did in ’24 and ’25, but never before had we claimed the top spot. This time, we raised the trophy in the most significant category for us: Wholesale Floral & Plant Supplier of the Year.
Each award we receive is special, but this one had eluded us until now, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be crowned in such elite company.
Three Times a Finalist – And This Time We Won!
For the third year running, Westflor was named a finalist in three FPC Fresh Awards categories. We were incredibly proud to reach the final in both 2024 and 2025, but on each occasion the top spot remained just out of reach.
So to return in 2026 as triple finalists once again – and finally bring home a trophy – makes this win even more special.
And the award we’ve won is one that we really wanted! It means a huge amount to us to have been crowned Wholesale Floral & Plant Supplier of the Year.
Why This Award Means So Much
The FPC judges summed up exactly why this award means so much to us:
From sourcing and buying to customer service, warehouse, deliveries, IT, accounts and everything in between, this award belongs to the whole Westflor team. It’s the result of a huge amount of work behind the scenes, all focused on helping our florist customers get what they need, when they need it.
Recognised Across the Fresh Produce Industry
The FPC Fresh Awards celebrate achievement across the fresh produce, cut flower and plant industries and their global supply chains, so winning this award is particularly special to us.

We couldn’t have put it better ourselves. We’re incredibly proud that what we’ve built for professional florists has been recognised on such a significant stage within the wider fresh produce industry.
Fellow winners include household names such as Marks & Spencer, Aldi, Co-op and Ocado, to name a few. Yet here we are, proudly holding our own among some major names from across the fresh produce industry. Within our own category, we were up against some excellent fellow finalists – Hoek Flowers, Ilo Bloom, Newey and Tom Brown Wholesale Florists – making the win even more special.
A Night to Remember
The awards were held at the spectacular JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London on Friday 25th September, bringing together businesses and people from across the fresh produce, cut flower and plant industries.

A Special Floristry Connection
There’s also a particularly special floristry connection to this award. The Wholesale Floral & Plant Supplier of the Year category is sponsored by the British Florist Association, an organisation we’re proud to support and work alongside within our industry.
We also loved seeing floristry students’ work bringing the tables to life on the night, a great concept coordinated by the BFA for the second year running.
Celebrating With Some Familiar Flower Faces
We were also delighted to see Porta Nova celebrating on the night. We’re proud to also stock their outstanding roses, it was lovely to see them take home the well deserved Zero Net Impact Award – plenty of flower industry success to celebrate!
