We’ve won Sundries Supplier of the Year at the BFA Industry Awards!
What a week it’s been! Just over a week after celebrating our first-ever win at the FPC Fresh Awards, we found ourselves celebrating again – this time at the British Florist Association (BFA) Industry Awards, where we were absolutely thrilled to be named Sundries Supplier of the Year 2026!

Saturday 3rd October saw many of the Westflor team come together and celebrate as we raised the roof and trophy of Sundries Supplier of the Year. The annual glittering award ceremony is held as part of FleurEx the British Florist Associationan event which sees florist from all parts of the UK come together at Nottingham Converence Centre.
Why This Win Feels Particularly Special
We may be best known as a flower wholesaler, but our sundries department has always been a hugely important part of what we offer our florist customers. To see that recognised with a national award, particularly in a category filled with specialist sundries suppliers, was a very proud moment for the whole Westflor team. Our friends at Oasis Floral Products came in second and I.S Sundries secured the third spot.
From Runner-Up to Winner
This isn’t our first time being recognised in the Sundries Supplier category.
Back in 2023, we were delighted to be named First Runner-Up for Sundries Supplier of the Year. Even then, the result meant a great deal to us. We were the only non-specialist sundries supplier among the finalists, so to be recognised alongside businesses whose primary focus is floristry sundries was a fantastic achievement.
Three years later, we returned to the category – and this time we won!
A Different Kind of Award for Westflor
Winning this award feels particularly significant because sundries aren’t the only thing we do.
We’re first and foremost a flower wholesaler, supplying thousands of fresh cut flowers to professional florists, alongside plants and a huge range of floristry sundries. So, while our sundries department is extensive, we’re not a specialist sundries supplier in the traditional sense.
In fact, we were the only supplier in this year’s category whose main business isn’t floristry sundries.
That’s why winning against established names in the specialist sundries sector made the result even more unexpected – and even more special.
It shows that while flowers may be at the heart of Westflor, our sundries department can absolutely stand on its own merits.
Celebrating Our Sundries Team
Our close-knit team at Westflor works incredibly hard to make sure our florist customers have access to the products they need. But this award is a wonderful recognition of the hard work of our sundries team.
They work closely with customers, keep a close eye on trends and continually look for exciting new products to add to our already extensive range. And that’s before we touch upon the passion and enthusiasm our sundries team brings to Westflor every day.
What a Couple of Weeks!
Winning the BFA Sundries Supplier of the Year award would have been a huge achievement at any time, but the timing has made it all the more extraordinary.
Just over a week ago, on Friday 26rd September, we were celebrating our first-ever win at the FPC Fresh Awards, where we were named Wholesale Floral & Plant Supplier of the Year.
To then head into the BFA Industry Awards at FleurEx and come away with another national award just over a week later is something we’re still getting our heads around!
Two national awards. Two very different parts of our business. And one very proud Westflor team.

Awards like these are never down to one person or one department. They’re a reflection of the people who make Westflor what it is, day in and day out.
